LAL expands into northern England & Central London

In a bid to meet the rapidly growing demand for young learners courses, LAL has ramped up its activities by adding two summer schools in the UK, one in Manchester and another in the city centre of London.

LAL’s Summer School in Manchester will operate out of cooperation with the University of Salford. Hosted at UoS campuses, the four-week operation is designed to provide students both with a taste of life in Northern England and with the best of campus life in a UK university.

“[We] will be able to accommodate the requests of those students looking for a more urban feeling”

LAL Summer School in Westminster will offer students panoramic views of Central London, while on their downtime, young learners will be able to fully enjoy all that the University of Westminster has to offer.

“One thing we’re proud of at LAL is of the culture of listening to our customers and partners and allowing ourselves time to develop products that they will truly love. Our new Summer Schools are, therefore, a result of a couple of years of development so that our new and returning students can discover new locations,” said Mark Cook, head of Summer Schools.

“For our partners, that means that we’ll be able to go way beyond the capacity we used to have at St Marys’s university and will be able to accommodate the requests of those students looking for a more urban feeling.”

LAL has wrapped up the summer of 2019 with capacities reaching 97% on average, with student satisfaction up from 91% in 2018 to 93.5% in 2019.

2019 has been a busy year for LAL, having joined forces with BROWNS English Language School last month and announcing that Language Campus/Idiomas GC in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, will be joining as a LAL Partner Centre from January 2020.
