The new Agricultural Science University Foundation Program, beginning September 2022, will guarantee students who successfully complete the course places on undergraduate programs of their choice at the RAU.

A similar agreement will also be offered to students on Bell’s Masters Preparation program, with places awarded on any of the master’s programs at RAU upon completion.

The Foundation Program aims to combine “innovative theories of sustainable methods for international agriculture” alongside practical visits and experiments, where students develop skillsets and knowledge while also opening doors to related career fields.

Neil Ravenscroft, deputy vice-chancellor at the RAU, said the higher education provider is delighted to be working with Bell.

“Agriculture and food supply are two of the most vital issues across the globe and it is great to have two such major global names in education coming together to provide more students with opportunities to gain international qualifications that prepare them to make important contributions to addressing shared issues around food systems and security,” he said.

“We are delighted to have formed this partnership with the RAU which will allow Bell students access to more than 30 superb undergraduate degrees spanning many different disciplines including agricultural business management, equine science, entrepreneurship, and land management,” Frank Pinner, principal of Bell Cambridge, added.
